Introduction
After spending significant time working with many of you researching & designing various growth models and marketing strategies, we decided it was time to open up the proverbial flood gates. We aim to arm every one of you with the basics of SaaS marketing and sales through a robust foundational resource for the 2020s and beyond.
This document will give you a general outline of the different sales and marketing concepts we will cover on SaaS IQ over the course of this year. In every listed point we will give a high-level summary of each subject and then dive further into a specific topic touched on in this paper each month in order.
Hypothesis:
After working with many fantastic teams and great brands we have determined that many legacy SaaS brands are poorly prepared for the dynamic changes that have occurred and are continuing to occur in software consumer purchasing decisions.
New entrants are having trouble competing with established brands because of their budgetary constraints.
Key Assumptions
Organizations have not developed a robust Day Zero Digital Growth Marketing Strategy.
Many Organizations are unaware of or do not know how to properly leverage the vast amount of growth tools & resources at their disposal.
Organizations are struggling to properly use and create good content to grow audiences and assert themselves as thought leaders and subject matter experts to then be leveraged for lead generation.
Billions of dollars are wasted every year in advertising and marketing waste because organizations aren’t properly using all the resources at their disposal or are poorly allocating marketing capital.
Our goal through SaaS IQ is to help organizations better deploy marketing dollars, assist them in identifying what tools can help them maximize lead generation, demonstrate proven growth strategies, and provide a blueprint on how organizations can then implement these strategies into their own marketing strategy.
This document will provide a general framework to understand these tools, opportunities, and strategies. Continued… See Full SaaS IQ White Paper and Subscribe
